The French National Assembly in Paris, France

The French National Assembly (also known as the Palais Bourbon.) is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of France under the Fifth Republic. The other house is the Senate. The National Assembly consists of 577 members who are called Deputies. In order for majority, one party must have 289 seats at the least. These Deputies are elected in a run off voting system (Runoff voting involves two rounds of voting. Only two candidates survive to the second round.) The National Assembly is then watched over by the President. In France right now, the president is a man named Bernard Accoyer. The president of the Republic may dissolve the Assembly unless he has dissociated it in the past twelve months.
